General Dress Code Rules:

  3. Footwear restrictions include no high heels or sports shoes.


NEET Dress Code 2024 for Male Candidates:

  1. Half-sleeved shirts/T-shirts are recommended to maintain a professional appearance[5].

  2. Clothes should be light without elaborate embroidery.

  3. Trousers are advised, while candidates should avoid Kurtas and Pajamas.

  4. Slippers or sandals are allowed; shoes are not permitted.


NEET Dress Code 2024 for Female Candidates:

  1. Half-sleeve clothes are mandatory; full-arm-length sleeves are not allowed.

  2. Jeans with big pockets and fashionable wear are discouraged[2].

  3. Leggings and palazzo are not permitted.

  4. Low heel footwear or sandals/slippers are recommended.


Customary Dress :

  • Sikh candidates can wear their traditional kara and kirpan, with special verification arrangements.

  • Muslim girls are allowed to wear a burkha as a customary dress.


🚫 Accessories Banned in NEET Exam 2024

Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items inside the examination hall:

  • Stationery: Pen, pencil, scales, geometry box, calculator, etc.

  • Electronic items: Mobile phones, earphones, watches, etc.

  • Eatables: Food items, water bottles, except for special conditions like diabetes.

  • Personal items: Wallets, accessories,mobile, camera, goggles, belts, caps, and ornaments.
